I am a dedicated birth doula called to ensure that no mother walks the journey of childbirth alone. After spending 20 beautiful years raising my own family, God redirected my path to serve women. My mission is to provide continuous physical, emotional, and informational support to those who need it most—focusing deeply on teen moms.
My Story
My love for childbirth began when I was just 15 years old, watching my sister deliver my nephew. I was completely fascinated and knew right then that I wanted to be a part of the birth world. However, life moved quickly. I married my husband at 17, started my own family, and my dream of birth work was set aside. For 20 years, I poured myself into being a wife, mom, homeschool teacher, and church volunteer, assuming that old dream had passed me by.
Everything changed when we found out we were expecting our first grandchild. While helping my daughter-in-law look for a midwife, I realized our area faced a severe shortage of home birth providers. I began praying, asking God to bring more midwives to our community. Instead, He answered with a simple, clear command: Become a doula.
At first, I wondered how that would help the home birth shortage, until I realized my calling wasn’t for home births—God was sending me into the hospital setting to care for the women there. When I shared this wild dream with my husband, he didn't hesitate to support me.
After completing my training, I sat down to price my services. I was overwhelmed and in tears because I felt God speaking to my heart again, telling me I wouldn't be making money as this is not to be my job. My true ministry is to serve the mothers who couldn’t afford standard doula care—primarily teen moms. Once again, I shared this "crazy" idea with my husband, and without hesitation, he agreed. Every step of this journey, God has aligned our hearts, my husband has been my most amazing partner and support.

If you are wondering whether working with a Christian doula means having church or religion pushed on you, let me reassure you: my goal is always to support, never to pressure. My faith is simply the foundation of who I am, motivating me to serve every family with deep love, care, and respect. Throughout your pregnancy you will be covered in prayer. It is entirely your choice whether we pray aloud together during our prenatal meetings or if I lift you up during my quiet time at home. Because motherhood is meant to be done in community, I passionately encourage every mom to find her village. I love pointing women toward church-based moms' groups, but if that isn't the right fit for you, I am equally dedicated to helping you find a supportive community elsewhere.
