Growing up, I was taught that pregnancy and childbirth is a beautiful blessing--gifts to be celebrated as a natural part of life. Over the years as an adult I have discovered that most people this is not their story. For them, not only was it rarely talked about, but when it was spoken of it was with an edge of fear and anxiety. This makes pregnancy and labor so much more challenging to face.
The doula’s responsibility is to ease that tension. Walk you through creating a birth plan, help you prepare for that exciting day, then when the time comes, and serve as your continuous companion when the time comes--ensuring you feel heard, understand and supported during labor and delivery.
We can break the cycle of fear surrounding birth. I am here to help you navigate your unique pregnancy path so you can step into motherhood with confidence, peace, and clarity.

It is never too early or too late to get the support you deserve. Whether you just found out you are pregnant or are nearing your due date, we are ready to walk alongside you.

Welcoming a new baby is a beautiful milestone, but navigating the transition into motherhood can easily feel overwhelming without the right support. At Rooted in Hope, our vision is to ensure you never have to do it by yourself. We have a passionate team ready to stand with you, providing dedicated hands-on care during your first month postpartum.

Consultations
No one should have to navigate motherhood alone. At Rooted in Hope, we are dedicated to making sure young moms have the community and support they need to thrive. Because I experienced a young pregnancy myself, I know how vital a strong support system is—and we want to be that for you.
While our primary focus is wrapping our arms around teen moms, we welcome all expectant mothers. If you are expecting and need support, please reach out—we schedule consultations for any expectant mother as space allows.
